For entertainment purposes only
Augur produces palm readings and astrological commentary as artistic, contemplative content. The readings are not predictions, professional advice, or substitutes for medical, financial, legal, or psychological counsel. Decisions you make based on the readings are your own.
Your account & data
Augur does not require an account. Your readings, journal, and onboarding selections are stored on your device. See our privacy policy for details about what is sent to our reading proxy.
Subscriptions
Augur offers an optional premium subscription via Apple's App Store. Pricing is shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
A 7-day free trial may be offered on the yearly plan. After the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically unless cancelled before. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code.
- Use the app or our reading proxy in a way that interferes with normal operation, attempts to overwhelm rate limits, or otherwise abuses the service.
- Use the readings for purposes that would defame, harass, or cause harm to another person.
Intellectual property
The Augur app, its name, branding, design, and reading prose belong to us or our licensors. You may share screenshots and 9:16 share clips for personal, non-commercial use. The app is provided to you under a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to install and use on devices you own.
Third-party services
Reading text is generated by Anthropic's API. Subscription processing uses RevenueCat and Apple's StoreKit. Their respective terms apply where relevant.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any reading for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or revenue.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and surfaced in the app.
